This thrilling day trip includes transportation aboard comfortable ground transportation to and from Grand Canyon National Park area. Travel through the Navajo Indian Reservation and Painted Desert en route to Page, Arizona with sights of the Grand Canyon's Eastern Rim. Once you arrive at the base of Glen Canyon Dam, you will board a motorized river raft that comfortably seats up to 32 passengers. Each passenger will also receive a light box lunch to enjoy during their river float.
Motor along effortlessly between canyon walls that rise hundreds of feet above you while floating 15.5 miles on the Colorado River. Your guide will offer interesting detail about the history of the area, the ancient peoples who once lived there, as well as the rich animal and plant life. A brief stop along the river bank will give guests the opportunity to take a short hike to see ancient petroglyphs interpreted by one of our guides. You'll even drift through the world-recognized Horseshoe Bend. Your trip concludes at historic Lee's Ferry where ground transportation awaits for a return trip through Navajo lands to the Grand Canyon area with a stop at the Cameron Trading Post.
